The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

The Board heard an update about the Adel Partners Farmers Market, which will be held on Tuesdays starting on June 2 in a new location at 10th and Main Street near the Raccoon Valley Bank Pavilion, and approved a request to use the county’s east parking lot.

Items on the agenda that were approved included an Adel Historical Society display use request, creating unemployment insurance fund, setting a public hearing for the MSA comprehensive plan vendor contract for May 12 and a resolution for the final plat of Cappro Holdings Subdivision.

Other items that were approved included the first reading of proposed changes to Chapter 45 zoning ordinance regarding family and group homes and a resolution setting the county mileage reimbursement rate to match the federal rate, which will go into effect on July 1. The Board also approved a resolution designating Friday as National Law Day.
