The Panorama Girls and Boys Track and Field Teams competed in the Bob Clark Relays in Audubon on Tuesday, as sophomore Emma Walker came out on top in the Girls Discus Throw.
Walker threw a distance of 106 feet and five inches to win the event, while grabbing fifth in the shot put at 31 feet and 11 inches. Also, sophomore Nella Rivas finished fourth in the 3000 Meters with a time of 13:16.23 and sophomore Corrie Knapp was fifth at 13:56.68, then junior Laicey Lutz garnered sixth in the 800 Meters at 2:38.43.
On the boys side for the Panthers, senior Cristian Monrroy-Nunez nabbed second in the shot put at 44 feet and 11.5 inches, then junior Reed Draper was third in the Long Jump going 19 feet and five inches, and senior Syler Shaffer got fourth place in the 400 Meters going 53.33 seconds, while senior Zach Hayden ran 5:28.88 in the 1600 Meters for eighth place.
Panorama will have the rest of the week and will participate in the West Central Activities Conference Meet at AC/GC High School in Guthrie Center this coming Tuesday, May 5th. The full results from the Bob Clark Relays can be found by clicking here.
