The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track and Field Team hosted an invitational in Adel on Tuesday, as seven other schools participated in the meet, and the Tigers notched second place.

ADM secured a second place finish overall with 158 points, behind Waukee Northwest, who won with 185. Individually, senior Elise Coghlan placed first in the open 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.99 seconds with senior Haley Nelson in second place (15.29 seconds). Coghlan also won the 400 Meter Hurdles at 1:03.23 as freshman Clara Uthe finished in third at 1:10.02.

Tiger junior Isabelle Book nabbed first place in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.52 seconds, and tallied fourth in the 400 Meter Dash at 1:03.48, then junior Allie Eggleston captured second in the 1500 Meter Run at 5:18.92, and sophomore Elliotte Von Roden finished fourth in the 3000 Meters at 11:16.01.

ADM will hit the road to Carlisle tomorrow for the Wildcat Relays, starting at 4:15pm. The full results from the Tiger Invite can be found by clicking here.
