Families can celebrate Star Wars Day next week in Adel and Minburn.

Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz says the Adel Public Library will host Miss Paula’s Star Wars Storytime at 4 p.m. on Monday in the community room. She says former librarian Miss Paula will read Star Wars-themed stories and will also provide games and crafts. 

Schwarz details that the program is geared toward children ages 4-7 and registration is required. For more information, click here.

The Minburn Public Library will also celebrate Star Wars Day from 4-6 p.m. on Monday with a May the 4th Party. The library says attendees will watch the animated “Clone Wars” movie while building lightsabers out of pool noodles. Costumes are welcome.
