
The West Central Valley Boys Soccer Team played their 10th game of the season on Thursday at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, tying 1-1 with St. Albert.
The Wildcats were 8-1 coming into the contest, while the Falcons came in at 9-3-1. West Central Valley got on the scoreboard first 28 minutes into the contest, as senior Trajan Rummel found success in the back of the net to give the Wildcats the 1-0 advantage.
West Central Valley took that score to the break, then in the second half, St. Albert responded with a goal of their own from senior Krystopher Moseley to tie the game at 1-1. No more scoring would be done from either team, as the contest ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Wildcats’ record is 8-1-1 on the year, while the Falcons now sit at 9-3-2 overall. West Central Valley will now be off until Saturday, May 9th, where they’ll be playing in the Big Red Soccer Classic in Centerville.
