The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls and Boys Track and Field Teams will stay home in Adel tonight for the Raccoon River Conference Meet.

ADM will be inviting Ballard, Bondurant-Farrar, Boone, Carlisle, Carroll, Gilbert, North Polk, and Winterset into Tiger Stadium. The ADM Girls are coming off a fifth place finish in the Wildcat Relays in Carlisle this past Thursday, while the Tiger boys notched second in the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational that same day. ADM senior Haley Nelson says that now is the time to tighten up the areas before the meet.

“I think we’re just fine tuning things. We’ve got a good base established, so then for like the 4×100 (Meter Relay) making sure those handoffs are crisps. We’ve got our order down, so making sure people feel comfortable, trust each other, and just fine tuning any of the hurdle work.”

The competition is taking place from Tiger Stadium in Adel this afternoon, beginning at 4pm.
