The 2026 Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Coed Track & Field Meet is today at Linduska Field in Jefferson hosted by the Greene County Rams. Action starts at 4:30 p.m. with field events and running events beginning at 5 p.m. All nine HOIAC schools will have their girls and boys teams competing.
Bound Iowa has three Greene County events for girls and two for boys at the top of the conference before today’s meet. Senior Becca Anderson leads conference runners in the girls’ 200 meter dash at 26.27 seconds and senior Kaycee Pittman is the 800 meter run leader at 2:21.19. The Rams lead the distance medley relay at 4:21.56 with senior Addison Gannon and sophomore Hanna Fouch on the 200 meter legs with Anderson running the 400 and Pittman the 800 meter anchor. The boys from Greene County are the 800 meter medley relay leaders in 1:36.49 with juniors Jaron Jacobs, Lincoln Schwander, Zack Stalder, and Wolterman. Wolterman is the leader in the 800 run at 2:00.32.
Also on today’s calendar, Paton-Churdan has its girls and boys teams in Lake City today for the coed Jim Yunek Relays. The boys’ golf team is at the South Hamilton Tournament in Jewell at 2 p.m. today.
