The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Esports MarioKart Team has wrapped up the 2026 season, posting a perfect record of 7-0, as they prepare for the state meet later this month.

ADM played Washington (Iowa) on Tuesday in MarioKart, winning the first round 93-63, and took the second frame 102-54. The victory locks up a 7-0 regular season record, with the other wins coming against West Delaware, South Tama County, Fairfield, Center Point-Urbana, Benton, and Nevada. ADM has secured a top-four spot to automatically qualify for the state competition in Marshalltown.

The Esports State Tournament is taking place at the IVCCD Orpheum Theater Center in Marshalltown on Tuesday, May 19th, starting at 8am.
