Greene County and Nevada play Heart of Iowa Activities Conference soccer tonight with the girls at Nevada and the boys at Linduska Field in Jefferson.
The boys’ match features teams with winning records and the conference title will be decided by the outcome. The Cubs are 4-0 in the league and 9-4 overall while the Rams are 7-4 this season and 3-1 in the HOIAC. A Greene County victory would mean a tie for the conference title as there are only six soccer teams in the conference. The Cubs would go unbeaten in conference play if they win.
The Rams are 0-12 in girls’ soccer while Nevada is 5-4-1. Greene County has just one goal on the season while the Cubs have scored 23 times.
