The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball Team traveled to Saydel on Tuesday for their second game of the season, falling 11-0.
After the Tigers couldn’t get any runners across the plate in the top of the first inning, the Eagles were able to score four runs in the bottom half to quickly grab a 4-0 advantage. No more scoring would be done until the bottom of the fourth inning, where Saydel would rack off another seven runs to win by a final score of 11-0 in five innings.
ADM’s Ben Grife was the starting pitcher, going 3.2 innings, allowing three hits, nine runs, and captured two strikeouts. The Eagles climb to 1-0 on the year, while the Tigers fall to 0-1. ADM will turn around and hit the road to Harlan tonight for a single game at 7pm.
