Only the postseason remains for the Greene County High School girls’ soccer team. Coach Wes Anderson’s Rams hosted Atlantic in a makeup match on Tuesday night at Linduska Field in Jefferson with the Trojans winning by a 4-0 score. Atlantic is now 2-11-2 while the Rams fell to 0-15 with one goal scored this season.

The Trojans scored two early goals and led 2-0 until less than 17 minutes remained in the second half. The last Atlantic goal came with just 12 seconds left on the clock.

The Rams have completed the regular season and next up is a first round Class 1A Region 5 match on May 26 vs. Wright County at Belmond-Klemme high school in Belmond. Wright County is 0-13-2 and the winner on May 26 goes to Carroll to meet Kuemper Catholic in a second round match.
