The Guthrie County chapter of Pheasants Forever is hosting their inaugural Fall Fundraiser this weekend.

Organizer Joe Hanner says the event was thought up to raise funds and awareness for the organization as they regrow. “The last few years, our committee numbers have shrunk down, and our attendance at the banquet has  lessened, so we decided not to do a banquet this spring, and instead focus on building up the committee, which we’ve done, and now we’ll hold a smaller event.”

The event, which features games, bingo, a silent auction and dinner, takes place from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Saturday night at the Lake Panorama Conference Center.
