At long last, the 2016 edition of state qualifying has finally arrived for Iowa high school cross country.

For the West Central Valley Wildcats that means another trip back to Panorama for their edition of state qualifying. Both Wildcat teams faired well in their last bout at the Panorama course with the boys squad taking 6th place and the girls squad taking 3rd.

The Lady Wildcats will be led by Abbey Harris and Gillian Stanley while the boys squad will look to junior Rylan Heffernan and senior Tyler McKibbin.

Both cross country teams will kick things off from the Lake Panorama Par 3 Golf course beginning at 4:00.
