The Perry Chamber of Commerce hosted their monthly Chamber Coffee event yesterday, this time at Edward Jones Financial.
Andrew Brommer hosted the event, where he was announced as one of the newly-elected Chamber Board members. Also newly elected was Emily Leslie, who will be the Chamber President for 2018. Leslie got the event started by thanking everyone for their participation in the annual Lighted Christmas Parade, as well as announcing the entries voted this year’s best: Snap Fitness, St. Patrick’s Catholic School, and Cavanaugh Farms. Brommer then welcomed the attendees to his business and explained the services they offer and his history with Edward Jones. The attendees then went around in a circle, introducing themselves and the businesses or organizations they represent, and in some cases letting the others know about upcoming events or promotions.
Leslie believes the Chamber Coffees have been very successful this year as a way for people in Perry to network with others, while also being informative. The events will continue into 2018, and are held the second Friday of every month.
