A deputy assisted DHS with a welfare check in Grand Junction.

Lucas Fulton Ausberger was booked into the jail for Possession of Controlled Substance – Marijuana 1st Offense. He was released on his own recognizance.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
