If you’ve found a hidden gem while digging in the backyard, there’s an opportunity to learn its value. Whiterock Conservancy will be hosting the Archaeology Road Show on Saturday, March 3rd at the Bur Oak Visitors’ Center from 1-4pm. Experts Joe Artz of EarthView Environmental and Cherie Haury Artz from the State Archaeologist Office will give their assessments of discovered items. The free event will also include a public discussion from 3-4pm on the items presented during expert analysis.

There will also be a Raccoon River House Concert later that night at the center at 7pm. The concert features duo The Rough and Tumble and a $10-20 donation for the performers is appreciated.
