Perry juniors and seniors will be dressing up and dancing the night away this weekend at prom and area residents are working to make sure everyone does so safe and responsibly.

The dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs are particularly high on prom night and often linked to injuries or death.

In an effort to prevent underage drinking, the Perry Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $500 for information identifying locations of any prom underage drinking related parties that can be verified by law enforcement interventions.

Awards are also available for anyone who shares information about individuals providing alcohol to minors.
