Wrestling on consecutive nights to begin the 2019 portion of the high school wrestling season seemed to agree with the Greene County Rams. Just 24 hours after going 3-0 in dual meets at Ogden on Thursday, first year head coach Zach Beekman’s Rams won the North Polk Round-Robin Tournament in Alleman on Friday. The Rams scored 388 points with Grinnell at 370, North Polk 344, Waukee JV 336, Mount Ayr 231, and 44 points for Shenandoah.
The Rams totaled 27 falls on the night and crowned individual champions in junior Will Hansen (145), along with seniors Brock Wuebker (170), Clint Dennhardt (182), and Bryce Hoyle (195).
