The ACGC girls and boys track and field teams will continue their 2019 campaigns tomorrow night at Audubon.

Girls head coach Colin Shawgo feels this meet gives his squad in particular the chance to see some competition they haven’t seen yet this season. “That’s usually a pretty full meet and we get to see some of those western Iowa teams that we don’t get to see a whole lot of the time. So we usually use that one as a tuneup for our home meet and as a way to kind of get ourselves mentally ready for that home meet.”

This will be the first and only meet of the season in Audubon for the girls. The non-senior boys have already had one opportunity at the track in Audubon. Ten season-best times for individuals on the ACGC boys squad were reached at the Audubon track, including six in the 100 and 200 meter dashes combined.
