A deputy, Grand Junction Fire and Rescue and Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel all responded to the 1100 block of U Avenue for the report of an unresponsive male. The male was transported to the Greene County Medical Center Emergency Room.

A deputy was advised of residential alarm activation in Paton. The owner of the residence called and stated that a deputy was not needed and was aware of the alarm problem.

A deputy was dispatched to a farm field in the 1300 block of 190th Street for the report of an agitated ex-employee that was harassing his previous employer. The male was asked to leave and he complied without incident.

A deputy, the Chief Deputy Sheriff and the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a two vehicle accident that had occurred at the intersection of X Avenue and 230th Street. A 2006 Ford F-250 that is owned and was being driven by Steven Thomas Fisher of rural Grand Junction was southbound on X Avenue when Fisher collided with an eastbound 2011 Kia Sorrento that was driven by Justin David McCool of Carroll, Iowa. Justin McCool was transported to the Greene County Medical Center by Grand Junction Rescue for further evaluation. The McCool vehicle sustained an estimated $6000 in damages. Steve Fisher was not injured but his Ford pickup sustained an estimated $5000 in damages. Fisher was issued a citation for Failure to Yield to a Vehicle on the Right.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff and several deputies assisted jail personnel in the Greene County Law Enforcement Center with an unruly inmate that had assaulted a jailor causing injury to her hand. Clay Hoffman was charged with assault and later transported to the Fort Dodge Prison facility.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all  defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
