Mass of Christian Burial for James “Jim” Galligan, 87, of Perry, will be Saturday, October 26th at 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry at a later date. Visitation will be Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Family will be present from 4 pm to 7 pm and a time of sharing memories at 7 pm. Memorials will be given to St. Patrick’s School or to the family who will direct gifts to local organizations and may be left at the funeral home. Survivors include: Wife, Donna. Children, Colleen Kuhl of Dubuque, Tim Galligan of Downers Grove, Illinois, Kelli Recker of West Des Moines, Dan Galligan of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Molli Galligan of Des Moines. 14 grandchildren. 3 great grandchildren. Siblings, Margaret Galligan Birkett of Cuba City, Wisconsin.
