Kent Hovey of Dallas Center was traveling in the 25000 block of Highway 169 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $3500.00.

Andrew Patrick Wilson, age 22 of 4081 SE 6th, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for driving while barred.
