Last Wednesday night the Dallas Center-Grimes Softball team, ranked #2 in Class 4A, found itself on the wrong side of a doubleheader.  The Fillies dropped a pair of games against Norwalk by the scores of 4-7, and 2-5.

Tonight, the Fillies have the chance to redeem themselves as they travel to Norwalk to face the Warriors on their diamond in another doubleheader.

Tonight’s games between DC-G and Norwalk will be the 4th and 5th times the two schools have met through this shortened season.

DC-G won the first match-up in Norwalk back on opening night, June 15, by the score of 6-0.

Steve Schlafke’s club has the chance to win the season series with Norwalk tonight should they sweep the Warriors on their home turf.  DC-G and Norwalk will begin the opener at 5:30pm tonight.
