Hunting and fishing licenses are available now for 2014.
Greene County Recorder Marcia Tasler says January 10th is the expiration date for 2013 and you must have a valid hunting or fishing license for the upcoming year to avoid any citations by the Department of Natural Resources Enforcement Officers.
Anyone looking to renew their hunting license, must pay $19 and another $13 for a habitat sticker for a total of $32 for a one-year license. A three-year hunting and habitat license is $86.
A one-year fishing license is $19 or you can purchase a three-year license for $53. Tasler notes that a new item for 2014 is that anglers can have a bonus line for a total of three fishing lines for $12.
Tasler points out that you can purchase a combination license called an Outdoor Combo of hunting, habitat and fishing for $47 for a one-year license. She comments that this is the second year the DNR has offered a combination license and its the second-year into the three-year licenses.
