The Panorama Speech Team was forced to make a change for the Iowa High School Speech Association State Large Group contest. 

The Panthers cancelled a trip to Madrid High School this past Saturday, due to inclement weather, and instead hosted the competition Tuesday night at Panorama High School, with hired judges. There were four entries that received straight Division I-ratings, including Reader’s Theater; Ensemble Acting – Swipe Left and Musical Theater.

Choral Reading, Group Improvisation and Ensemble Acting each earned an overall Division I-rating. 

All-State recognition will be announced by February 17th, and there will be no festival this season due to COVID-19.
