4:57am: A deputy investigated an alarm at the Iowa DOT shop on North Maple Street, Jefferson.

8:30am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 1819 6 th Street, Perry. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Police Department, and the Iowa State Fire Marshalls Office assisted. Stolen property, drug paraphernalia, controlled substances, and a suspected improvised explosive device were seized. Charges are pending lab results.

2:56pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 1800 block of 265th Street.

6:20pm: Jason Sheldahl 49 of Scranton was booked into the jail for violation of a no contact order.

8:35pm: Tanisha Rice 45 of Jamaica was booked into the jail a mittimus and a violation of a protective order.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
