6:56am: A deputy investigated a no contact order violation that was found to be occurring in Jefferson. The Jefferson Police Department took over the case.

7:18am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 140th Street near N Avenue.

7:35am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of Q Avenue.

8:55am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate a possible stolen vehicle.

9:26am: A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint in the 200 block of South Main Street, Paton.

1:40pm: A deputy arrested Jason Montgomery 39 of Fort Dodge for arrest warrants for burglary 3rd degree.

2:57pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of public urination in the 900 block of Grant Street, Scranton.

3:23pm: Jason Montgomery 39 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for two counts of burglary 3rd degree.

5:36pm: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of 13th Street, Grand Junction.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
