The AC/GC baseball season ended Saturday night in Van Meter.

The Chargers made the trip to Van Meter for a rubber match that would determine the District champion. AC/GC struck first by plating three runs in the first inning. Van Meter stormed back by scoring their first seven batters before the Chargers settled in. After a 10-run first frame, each pitcher settled in not allowing a single run until fifth. The Bulldogs would add a few more runs and clinch the game 11-3.
