ADM Softball will be competing in up in Fort Dodge today against Clear Creek – Amana in first round action in the 4A state tournament in a 3 seed vs. 6 seed matchup. ADM comes into the matchup at 25-10 and CC – A at 29-9, as this is expected to be a very fascinating matchup between two teams that can hit, pitch, and field at high levels.
The Tigers will be coming into the matchup playing some solid softball as of late, as they were able to win a wild game against Bondurant-Farrar last Tuesday to get to where they currently are. The Clippers had a wild road to Fort Dodge, as they were able to come back from five runs down against Marion, winning in the 11th inning by the score of 11-10.
For ADM, their biggest things of the game will be making sure that they get high quality at-bats from 1-9 hitters, limited errors, and making sure that they enjoy the moment of the tournament while staying focused throughout the game.
You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com with first pitch to be thrown at 3:30.
