As the seasons begin to change into fall, a special retail promotion is happening in Jefferson.

The Fall Open Houses are from today through Saturday in the downtown area with several retailers participating. In light of Saturday being the Cy-Hawk football game, one participating business, The Stitch, is hosting a free tailgate party from 5-7pm tomorrow.  Owner Tracy Bosshart notes that not only will there be free food, but also games that people can enjoy.

“For example, if you play cornhole you’re eligible to get some discounts. If you can come and serenade us with your school fight song, then you get a prize.”
