A reminder that tomorrow is the main day of festivities for the Greene County High School Homecoming Week.

Aside from tomorrow being Ram Spirit Day, the parade will return, starting around 2:15pm from the middle school and will head north on Chestnut Street to the downtown square. Following the parade will be the homecoming king and queen coronation ceremony on the south side of the Greene County Courthouse. The evening wraps up with the homecoming football game against Red Oak at 7pm.

Junior Class President Olivia Shannon shares her thoughts on this year’s homecoming.

“I’m really excited this year to have a normal homecoming. Last year with COVID, we weren’t able to have a parade, a pep rally, a dance or any of the really exciting parts of homecoming. So this year we’re able to do all of those fun highlights of the week. So it makes me really excited.”

Saturday is the dance from 8-10pm at the middle school gym. Admission is $5 and the theme for the dance is Glow the Night Away, and students can purchase glow sticks at the dance.
