Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball played in a tournament at Council Bluffs – Thomas Jefferson over the weekend, and the Tigers were able to put together a nice weekend, going 2-2 on the year with wins over Denison-Schleswig and Siouxland Christian, and losses to Treynor and St.Albert. All of the wins and losses ended in straight 2 sets to none.

The Tigers in their wins were able to control rallies throughout the match, as they were able to play solid defensively and get some kills throughout the day. In their losses, the Tigers couldn’t find momentum early in the match as both other sides kept them at bay.

Tigers volleyball has improved to 13-6 on the year, as well as a 5-1 conference record as well.

Tiger volleyball will have a big one tomorrow night on the road, when they travel to take on the Huskies of Winterset on the road. The winner of this game will have inroads towards finishing in the upper half of the Raccoon River Conference so a win will prove large in the contest.
