First Year AC/GC Head Wrestling Coach Lane Rumelhart starts out his young coaching career this year and he brings with him a familiar friend as the assistant coach.

Rumelhart tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Kris Lehman will be the assistant head coach for the AC/GC wrestling team. He speaks about how important he will be a successful first year

” I’d say if we’re getting into coaching styles, I think Chris compliments my coaching style pretty well. Chris is a little bit better at raising the energy with with the guys, and his approach to coaching is a little different than mine and it complements me. And I think some boys, I reach better, some boys reach better with the kind of kind of our different styles of attack.”

Rumelhart says that Kris is like a brother he never had and brings the experience of wrestled at Guthrie Center High School and then Iowa Central Community College.
