
Dallas County has seen a drastic increase in new positive COVID-19 cases recently.
According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard, as of Monday, Dallas County has 17,975 total positive tests, for an increase of 688 cases since December 14th, and a total of 117 deaths. Guthrie County has seen an increase of 30 new positive cases since December 14th with 1,886 total positive tests, and one additional death for a total of 40. Adair County has 1,414 total positive tests, for an increase of 28 cases since December 14th, and two additional deaths for a total of 43. Greene County has 1,516 total positive tests with an increase of 14 cases in the past seven days with a total of 18 deaths .
As of Monday, statewide, there are 597,293 total positive tests, and 7,680 deaths.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers hospital data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 222 hospitalized patients, 44 in intensive care units and 27 admitted in the last 24 hours.
