Paton-Churdan hosted Exira-EHK on Friday night in Churdan in a Rolling Valley Activities Conference girl/boy basketball twin bill. The Spartans won both games by scores of 69-19 in the girls’ game and 67-35 on the boys’ side in a JV game. The P-C teams remain looking for their first wins on the varsity level this season.

Shaydon Thurman had 14 points for P-C boys and Phoenix Hartman added 11 points. Greg Jacobs, the Rockets’ coach, said Exira-EHK had a very good JV team.

Emma Stream had 17 of the Rockets’ 19 points. P-C played without leading scorer Becca Anderson.
