Funeral Services for Helen Peterson, 93, of Jefferson will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.  A private family burial will take place in the Jefferson Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11:00 Monday, May 26, 2014 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Mahanay Bell Tower Foundation or the Jefferson Congregate Meals.

Helen is survived by her son:  Richard (Jane) Peterson of Urbandale, IA; her daughter:  Marcia (Steve) Ely of Grimes, IA; her sister May Williams for Florida; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
