The Adel City Council will meet tomorrow.

The Council will consider for approval a resolution for a street closure, Beggars’ Night, a Class C Beer permit for Family Dollar, and Administrative Clerk job description. They will also hear department head reports about the Central Iowa Regional Housing Authority annual report and the 2024-24 goal setting session, and consider for approval an ordinance amending an ordinance for the purpose of increasing the number of commissioners on the Historic Preservation Commission.

The Council will then consider for approval of Mayor Board and Commision Appointment to the Historic Preservation Commission, a funding request, scope of services and funding agreement regarding membership in the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance, and a resolution approving and accepting temporary easements regarding the 15th Street bridge project. Also up for consideration is a resolution approving a hauling/junk removal contract with Jermaine’s Hauling Services for the property at 1316 Orchard Street, a resolution ordering the construction of the Adel Water Utility Improvements new well and setting a hearing date for taking bids on the project, and setting a date for a public hearing regarding revision of Ordinance 396. The meeting will begin at 6pm in Adel City Hall.
