Perry resident Amanda Finneseth is around half way through her 11 month, 11 country mission trip and says the experience has already been life changing.

Finneseth left the U.S. in January.  So far she has done work in Guatamala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Laos.  We spoke to her via Skype from Thailand to find out how things are going thus far.

“It’s really amazing how welcoming and hospitable all the communities and the contacts, the people we’ve been working with have been.  I’ve just always felt so loved and welcome and it’s just really been heartwarming to see Christ’s body of believers are just loving and welcoming all over the globe” says Finneseth.

She says each county has been very different and she’s really looking forward to spending the last two months of the mission in Africa.  While there have been difficult and eye opening experiences, Finneseth says she would definitely recommend the World Race program to anyone that is interested

We’ll have more with her on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on AM 1310 KDLS.
