Perry cross country raced in Ames last night for a chance to go to State.  The Coed State Qualifier Meet hosted 13 schools at the Iowa State Cross Country Course.  For the first time since 2020, Perry had a girl qualify for the State Meet.  Lily Myers qualified to run at State finishing in 12th 19:30.20 while Taryn Nahring had the next best time in 38th 21:36.20  The Bluejays were shut out on sending someone to Fort Dodge.  Aidan Carlson finished in 31st 17:34.70 and Ivan Willet in 52nd 18:19.60.  The Bluejays finished in 10th out of the 13 teams.

Lily Myers will now run next Friday, November 1 at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
