We have all found ourselves at the need of an emergency vehicle at one point in our lives and Stuart Rescue is there for residents of not only Stuart but also Menlo and Dexter and even further.
Ronnie Ross is the new Director of Operations and comes from Osceola, Iowa and has extensive experience with 7 years as an emergency response coordinator and full-time paramedic.
Ronnie points out that they are in need of volunteers…“We are in need of some volunteers so anybody interested in serving the community come on up to the station and talk to one of us up here, we can get you an application and things like that. We are looking at having an EMT class the first part of October and for those that qualify there is assistance with help getting that paid for.”
Stuart Rescue also has an explorer program for kids still in high school that are interested in serving the community.
For more information and to hear our full conversation with Ronnie Ross, tune-in to today’s Let’s Talk Guthrie County program. That airs during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on K107.
