A Perry woman was recently taken into custody for an alleged sexual incident that happened earlier this year.

According to The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Perry Police Department, 41-year-old Amanda Jean Goff has been charged for a Class A Felony of First Degree Human Trafficking. Court documents show that back in January of this year, Goff allegedly took a 14-year-old female to a hotel in Perry with the intent of having the victim partake in commercial sexual activity with another person. 

Goff was arrested and is currently being held in the Sac County Jail on related offenses. The investigation, which was led by the Iowa DCI, was a collaborative effort between city, county, state, and federal law enforcement partners, with technical support from the Iowa Office to Combat Human Trafficking.
