The stakes are high with the start of the postseason for girls swimming in the state of Iowa tomorrow. Perry will travel to Ames for Regional action with the hope of qualifying individuals for the upcoming state tournament next week in Iowa City.
“There has been a little more focus on technique the past week but we are also trying to do some fun things off to the side to keep the kids loose and swimming freely,” states head coach Jean Dowd. “It’s a tough combo to manage but we’ve been able to do it in recent years with some of our success.”
Perry is scheduled to swim Saturday morning in Ames.
