As the boys wrestling season continues to grow near, senior Blake Schwartz is the lone returner of the five boys that qualified for the state wrestling meet for Panorama last season. Schwartz qualified for state weighing in at 165 pounds.

Last season, Schwartz found plenty of success, ending the season with a 32-12 record. At the district meet in February, Schwartz battled his way through the quarterfinals, but fell in the first place match for 165. Schwartz claimed second place, defeating Connor Murdock of Woodbine by fall in 3:06 to punch his ticket to the state tournament. At the state meet, Schwartz fell in both matches.

As the lone returner of the state qualifiers, Schwartz looks to return to the state tournament and guide his fellow Panthers towards success.
