
The AC/GC Chargers girls basketball team begins preparing for the season today.
The team starts practices this week, with a scrimmage on Saturday in Atlantic. They also host a scrimmage on November 18th against Creston. The first game of the season sees the team head to Manning as they face IKM-Manning on November 24th. The Chargers then host West Central Valley on December 2nd, and Woodward-Granger on the 5th. They then hit the road to take on Van Meter on December 9th, then return home to face Ogden on the 12th, and hit the road once again as they take on AHSTW on December 15th, and finish the 2025 part of the season by playing Panorama in Guthrie Center on the 19th.
When the team returns to action in 2026 after winter break, they will travel to face Des Moines Christian on January 6th, then head north to Madrid to face them on the 9th, and the next day take on Exira-EHK on the road. The Chargers then head to Woodward for their second game against Woodward-Granger on January 13th, followed by home contests against Earlham on the 16th, and CAM on January 19th. AC/GC then takes to the road once again to face Ogden on January 20th, and Panorama on the 23rd.
Clarinda makes the trip to Guthrie Center on January 26th, and the team heads to Truro on the 30th to face Interstate-35. The Chargers continue the road trip with stops in Stuart to face West Central Valley on February 3rd, and in Coon Rapids to take on Coon Rapids-Bayard on the 5th. They then host Pleasantville on February 6th, and finish the regular season at home against Madrid on the 10th.
