The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center School Board discussed a project at the high school in their October meeting.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that the stairs to the main doors of the building are showing some wear and deterioration, and the GC Board discussed with DeNovo Construction Solutions about some plans on how to go about the repairs. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio what the decision was that night.
“We went ahead and tabled the high school stair replacement bids as we kind of wait for this final design phase as we maybe added a little bit more cement at the top of those stairs.”
Rasmussen mentions that at the top of the stairs there’s some wash out and water issues that caused the concerns there. He adds that he and the Board hope to have the project completed this fall.
