A reminder that today is a fundraiser at the Greene County High School.

Vocal Director Dave Heupel says their annual Mattress Fundraiser is today from 10am-5pm in the high school commons. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio Custom Fundraising Solutions has several different types of mattresses laid out in the commons for people to come by and consider purchasing in a pressure-free environment. He believes this fundraiser fulfills a need for some people within Greene County.

“Well part of it is there’s really nothing like that in town here or right nearby. So, it’s a good opportunity. And he’s got just stats like crazy on one out of four families is replacing a mattress every year, and what percentage of families of what they’re looking for, and things like that.

And a lot of market analysis info that they have that, I think, is maybe how they help find that niche in what they’re doing.” 

Heupel notes that the Vocal Department receives a percentage of the sales and will use those proceeds to pay for the choir students to go to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, where they will also perform while enjoying the amusement park.
