
The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.
The Council approved the renewal of health insurance premiums for city employees, a lease agreement with Lee White for the use of his skid loader during the winter, and a local match for the hazard mitigation plan in to the amount of $68,077.89. They also approved the new code or ordinances, and set the date for their adoption for December 8th, along with the first reading of an ordinance to adopt the 2025 Panora city code of ordinances.
The Council then approved a local match for the hazard mitigation plan to the amount of $102,659.02, and a request for consent for the individuals Jeremy King, Emmett King, Casey Young and Blake Michelsen to discharge a firearm within city limits on AG zoned property owned by Ethan Boyer for the purpose of hunting Canada geese.
