The leader of the West Central Valley Girls Basketball Team gives credit to his coaching staff who help out in different ways.
Head Coach Dan Druivenga says that Assistant William Greenwood is tasked with the defensive side of the ball and then David Brumley who constantly scouts the opposing team’s offensive sets. Druivenga reveals that this year there is an additional coach of Bella Munoz, who is in charge of keeping stats. He emphasizes that having lots of hands in the process is crucial to being successful.
“I need as much help as I can get. I need as many eyes as I can get to help me out because I can’t see everything. They’re really good at doing things, and we’re starting to get into a groove, which makes us better as a team and as a coaching staff.”
West Central Valley will open the season on Monday in Stuart, welcoming in Creston at 6pm.
