Several local entities will be collaborating to provide information to Perry residents on Tuesday.
Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti says the next P.O.W.E.R. Hour program will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Hotel Pattee. She outlines that the acronym stands for “Projects, Opportunities, Wisdom, Excitement, and Resources.”
Pasutti notes that the presenters will include Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson, Perry Schools Superintendent Clark Wicks, Past President of Perry Economic Development Matt McDevitt and Perry Chamber Board Members Emily Leslie and Susan Brelsford. She explains that the POWER Hour serves as a good outlet to keep residents informed.
“This is something new that we started last year to have a seasonal opportunity for sharing updates. (It’s) a way to help spread information, positive information and things that are up and coming, new updates. We’ve got a lot of projects going on around the community and this is an opportunity for that insider information, to learn more about what’s going on.”
While the deadline for a boxed lunch has passed, Pasutti says seats are still available for community members to hear updates from the various presenters. While the event is free, she encourages those interested to register by clicking here.
Pasutti also invites residents to mark their calendars for upcoming POWER Hour luncheons on May 26 and September 22.
