
The Perry City Council will meet in regular session on Monday.
The council will hear a special presentation from Cheri Scheib about a bike chandelier.
Items on the agenda that are seeking approval during the regular meeting include adopting the fiscal year 2027 budget, following a public hearing, temporary construction and permanent public utility easements and ordering bids for the 1,500 foot parallel taxiway extension.
Other items on the agenda include resolutions for insurance renewal with The Hartford Insurance Policy for city employees, submission of a Community Catalyst Building Remediation Grant Application to IEDA and authorizing the submission of an application for the Iowa Department of Transportation airport funding.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. Monday inside the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building, 1102 Willis Avenue, in Perry. The meeting may be attended electronically through Zoom upon request made to City Hall by 2 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
